Interview with Hannah GietzenQ: How long have you been doing what you do and how did you get started?
I started my practice in August of 2021. It all started when I felt the need to serve a mission for my church; there was a lot t do to prepare so in late 2019 I got started. A few months later I was ready to go, and then a pandemic hit and everything slowed down or stopped. It was not until late in 2020 that my application was reviewed. But by then I had missed the age cut off by a few mouths. I was too old to go. I had a very heavy heart, until my sister said that I should move forward and go back to school like I had talked about. I had the thousands of dollars saved up for my mission; I had quit my job so I had the time. Her advice hit me hard and I realized that I needed to do just that. So I looked into what I wanted to study and prayed. I was lead to seek training as a heath coach and the more I learned about it the more I came to love it. So here I am today. Q: What kinds of clients do you work with? I work with busy people who are looking to lose weight and gain better heath. |
Q:How are you different from other heath coaches?
I believe that to truly make lasting change we needed God in our live and involved in our journey. I also partner with a hypnotherapist to offer that option to my clients.
Most health coaches give you a checklist of what to eat and what not to eat. If this approach worked, we wouldn't need coaches. But “Eat this, not that” doesn’t work for some people because eating is not all about food, it’s about our inability to cope with the stresses of day-to-day life.
Q: What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?
I work with all kinds of people, but I also believe that our energy needs to be compatible. My clients need to be willing to make an effort. This program is about making lasting changes that will lead to greater joy in life, I can guide you, support you and help you see what is possible, but I cannot do it for you. You will need to put in time and a willingness to change. Otherwise it will waste your time and money and I don’t want that.
Q: Who does this program NOT work for?
I only have openings for 2 new clients per 3 month in my schedule, so please know I’m very selective about who I work with, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my program and won’t get the results they would have invested in. (It wouldn’t be fair to them).
The Total Body Transformation system is NOT for those who aren’t ready to commit financially to their transformation, and it is NOT for those who just want a list of “eat this, not that”, because if that worked for my type of client, it would have worked already.
Another kind of person I won’t work with (without exception) is the whiner or the chronic skeptic, as well as individuals who consistently don’t show up to sessions or make excuses in order to keep putting themselves and their health last on the list of priorities.
Also I start each session with a pray. I am a better coach when I do. If this is not something you are comfortable with then, I will not be the right coach for you.
If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not schedule an initial conversation with me and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

We start with what I call an Opening the Relationship Conversation or OTR. There we can discover if this program is the right fit for you and if I am the right coach for you. After the OTR if we fit then we enroll you in one of my three programs.
Q: Although I want The Total Weight Loss Transformation 90-day Intensive I don’t have much time to spare. How much time do I need?
We’ll choose a recurring day of the week and time for your sessions
These sessions should be considered a sacred time - they are first priority because YOU are first priority
Sessions will occur once per week for 90 days
I’ll send you a “Welcome Email” that includes a Coaching Program Agreement (you’ll sign this agreement before our first session)
Tackling all the above is a lot on our own and often overwhelming to the point that it is easier to stay where we are. Coaching is a process that is facilitated in a specific way so you can be different, without having to think about being different.
